On 18 December, the first Open Doors Day of this academic year was held at the Belarusian State Academy of Aviation. More than 400 people came to the educational establishment to visit BSAA, learn about the peculiarities of the admission campaign and directly communicate with the cadets.
In the foyer of the main building a presentation platform on augmented reality developments and interactive platforms with scientific and social achievements of the academy's cadets were displayed for the participants of the event. The cultural life of the cadets was showcased by their vibrant creative performances.
The professorial staff and administration showed the future cadets the structure of the academy, the specialities of the Faculty of Civil Aviation and the Department of Secondary Specialized Education, the requirements for the entrants after the 9th and the 11th grades and the possibilities of getting a job.
Besides the academic staff the Open Doors Day was attended by the representatives of National Airport "Minsk" Victor Paley, Deputy General Director for General Affairs and Work with Personnel, addressed the audience in the auditorium. Future university entrants also had an opportunity to talk to Vyacheslav Khoroneko, Director General of Minsk National Airport, in an open dialogue.
Those who wished could take part in a tour of the academy's territory - visit the Military Faculty, the "Fundamentals of Radar" room and the language laboratory, the research laboratory, airfields and dorm. We hope that the programme of activities prepared helped the pupils to take the first step towards their future profession.
