On 14 January an online meeting was held with Elena Zelenko, deputy head of Zavodsky district administration of Minsk, which was attended by the leaders of student self-government bodies of higher and secondary special educational establishments of Zavodsky district of Minsk, including representatives of BSAA. The topic of the meeting was the draft of amendments and additions to the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus.

Elena Zelenko told why the amendments to the Constitution were necessary, focused on the consolidation of family and moral values in the society, preservation of the national values of the Belarusian people, ensuring preservation of the historical truth and memory about the heroic deed of the Belarusian people during the Great Patriotic War, increasing the responsibility of the individual for his/her health.

In her opinion, young people should take an active part in the development of their state, and the constitutional reform is aimed at doing just that. During the discussion the young people expressed their opinions on the content of the draft amendments and additions as well as possible proposals for its improvement.
