ФГС

About 3 billion people use air transport services in the world every year.

Travel by air has become a familiar way for human movement in the modern world.

35% of world trade is transported by air. Aviation employs 57 million people worldwide.

WE are the only educational institution of the REPUBLIC of BELARUS of higher professional education for training specialists for CIVIL AVIATION

CIVIL AVIATION IS A PROMISING AND ACTIVELY DEVELOPING INDUSTRY

Aviation has always been at the forefront of scientific and technological progress. The Belarusian state aviation Academy is an educational institution that meets the modern requirements of training highly qualified aviation specialists. Her address is widely known both in the Republic and abroad. The faculty of civil aviation has trained thousands of specialists, without whom the operation of modern civil aviation is impossible. Educational and material-technical base, teaching staff, updated content of training, introduction of modern information technologies, learning English contribute to the effective mastery of the profession and the formation of the personality of the future aviation specialist. Our FHA graduates are able to ensure reliable operation of air transport.

  The faculty of civil aviation (FSA) is one of the largest structural units of the Academy, established in 2007. From September 2007 to March 2010, the faculty was headed by Sergey Sizikov, candidate of technical Sciences, associate Professor, and from March 2010 to November 2015, the faculty was headed by Anton Ripinsky, associate Professor, from December 2015 to January 2016-Igor Aniskov, candidate of economic Sciences, from January 2016 to September 2017-Anatoly Staranovich. Since September 2017, the faculty was headed by Titov Vladimir Leonidovich, candidate of physical and mathematical Sciences, associate Professor. Since April 2019, the faculty is headed by Vyacheslav Iosifovich Nozdin-Plotnitsky, candidate of pedagogical Sciences, associate Professor.

The faculty consists of: Dean's office and seven departments:

  • Department of technical operation of aircraft and engines
  • Department of technical exploitation of aviation and radio-electronic equipment
  • Department of traffic management and security in air transport
  • Department of natural Sciences
  • Department of General professional disciplines
  • Department of social and humanitarian disciplines
  • Department of language training

Today, the faculty trains engineers for civil aviation (about 1000 cadets) in the following specialties:

  • "Technical operation of aircraft and engines»;
  • "Technical operation of aviation equipment" (specialties: "Technical operation of aviation equipment (instrumentation and lighting equipment)", " Technical operation of aviation equipment (electronic equipment)»;
  • "Organization of traffic and provision of flights on air transport" (specialty: "organization of traffic and provision of flights on air transport (organization of air traffic)".

  The educational process is provided by more than 150 qualified specialists with many years of scientific and pedagogical experience. Among them are 7 doctors and 34 candidates of science. The teaching staff of the FSA is distinguished by high professional training in the aviation field, motivation to constantly develop and improve teaching skills, creative approach to training sessions and practical orientation of training of aviation specialists.

  FGA holds leading positions in the field of aviation specialists training for SE "belaeronavigatsiya", Ministry of transport and communications of the Republic of Belarus, Department of aviation, air force and air defense forces of the Republic of Belarus, Aviation of The state border Committee of the Republic of Belarus, Aviation of the Ministry of emergency situations of the Republic of Belarus. Graduates of FSA receive distribution in airlines: national airline "Belavia", RUE "national airport Minsk", JSC "airline Grodno", JSC "airline Transaviaexport", LLC "Genex", up "Rubistar" and enterprises: SE "Minsk aircraft repair plant", JSC "Orsha aircraft repair plant", as well as in demand in airlines of near and far abroad.

At the Minsk aircraft repair plant, in the airlines "Belavia", in "Transaviaexport" branches of departments are created and work. FGA maintains relations with the aviation faculty of the military Academy of the Republic of Belarus, BNTU, BSU, BSUIR, BSPU and other universities, research institutes of the Republic of Belarus.

 The activity of the faculty of civil aviation is aimed not only at professional training of specialists, but also at their scientific growth. Teachers and cadets are actively involved in research work, which is reflected in numerous publications in scientific journals and collections. Cadets, taking part in the Republican competitions of NIRS of higher educational institutions, take prizes and are winners of various competitions (Republican competition of innovative projects, Republican competition "100 ideas for Belarus", international Startup tour of SKOLKOVO Foundation, XXI Republican competition of scientific works of students, Competition of the Russian Federation "Young scientist of Togliatti"). A large amount of inventive work is carried out at the departments of the Federal state University, in recent years, employees have received more than 35 patents for the invention of the Republic of Belarus.
