History of the Department

September 21, 2005, with the aim of further improving the organization of educational process, improvement of quality of training of aviation specialists on the basis of the decision of the Council of the institution of education "Minsk state higher aviation College" of 08.09.2005, No. 19 signed an order №407 on the division of the chair "Technical operation of the instrument and lighting equipment" into two names: the Department "Technical exploitation of aircraft equipment" (TEAE) and the Department "General Technical disciplines" (GTD). On the basis of the order of the educational institution "Belarusian state Academy of aviation" dated 26.05.2016 No. 112 on optimization of the staff structure, the Department of "General Technical disciplines" was renamed into the Department of "General Professional disciplines" (GPD).

The Department of General professional disciplines is one of the structural divisions of the faculty of civil aviation. The Department carries out training of cadets of all specialties of full-time and correspondence forms of training and provides carrying out educational, methodical, scientific and educational work on disciplines of a General professional cycle.

Guidelines for laboratory work using the Ni MultiSim software environment (version 12.0) are written in 2 parts. Part 1 contains brief information about working with the Multisim package and descriptions of 6 laboratory works on the study of electronics elements. Brief theoretical information and calculation formulas on the topics of laboratory work are given.

The main promising areas of scientific activity of the Department are:

Improvement of control systems of onboard equipment using elements of artificial intelligence and fuzzy logic.

Research of efficiency of cooling systems of generators with application of the developed mass-energy criterion of efficiency.

Implementation of virtual interactive tools to improve the practical orientation of training of students of BGAA.
