Brief history of the Department
The Department of "Natural science disciplines" was founded in 1999 on the basis of the Department of " Technical operation and repair of aircraft (TERAT)" (order No. 274 of 26.08.1999) and until September 2005 was called the Department of "General Technical disciplines". Head of the Department since its inception works Kirilenko Alexey Ivanovich, candidate of physical and mathematical Sciences, associate Professor; graduated from the Belarusian state University (BSU) with a degree in Physics.
Since 2000, the course of thermodynamics at the Department was taught by doctor of physical and mathematical Sciences, Professor Leonid Grechikhin. For a series of works on optics of the upper atmosphere, L. I. Grechikhin was awarded the Order of the red banner of Labor (1975)., for high achievements in scientific and pedagogical activity has medals "for labor valor", "Veteran of labor".
Since 1999, the Department taught mathematics graduate of Moscow state University Saptsin Vladimir Mikhailovich, candidate of physical and mathematical Sciences, associate Professor. Then, he was replaced by a graduate of Saratov state University, the largest specialist in set theory Kiselev Alexander Anatolyevich, candidate of physical and mathematical Sciences, associate Professor.
In 2001, Lyudmila Panasenko, a senior researcher at ITMO, PhD in physics and mathematics (graduated from Moscow state University with a degree in Physics), began teaching physics. her work is devoted to plasma physics, in particular, the theory of plasma hydrogen engines. Panasenko L. N. worked at the Department from 2003 to 2017.
From the moment of its creation associate Professor, candidate of technical Sciences Shinkevich Alexander Nikolaevich, a specialist in the field of mechanics, industrial design and ergonomics, who continues to work at the present time, cooperated with the Department.
The appearance at the Department of associate Professor, candidate of technical Sciences Gennady Gaidaenko (2003), and then associate Professor, candidate of technical Sciences Vyacheslav Anisimov (2004) made a real revolution in the teaching of mechanical cycle disciplines. Gaidaenko G. A. ordered documentation and created methodological support for teaching these disciplines, and Anisimov V. M. quickly and effectively created a laboratory for courses of machine parts and mechanics of materials. Solonskaya Claudia arsentyevna (2006) - associate Professor, candidate of technical Sciences, has established itself as a great specialist in mechanics. It has developed a number of manuals of high quality.
Associate professors and professors, representatives of various scientific and educational institutions of Minsk worked at the Department for a long time:
BSU (doctor of physical and mathematical Sciences, Professor V. I. Spits, candidate of physical and mathematical Sciences, associate Professor, senior researcher M. V. Puzyrev); BSTU (associate Professor, candidate of technical Sciences V. V. Smelov),
BSPU. M. Tank (doctor of physical and mathematical Sciences, Professor V. R. Sobol);
Military Academy of the Republic of Belarus (associate Professor, candidate of physical and mathematical Sciences of Septin Vladimir).
These specialists contributed to the improvement of methodological skills and the level of scientific work of the Department staff and cadets. The result of such cooperation was the receipt of four patents for inventions by the teachers of the Department.
Plyusnina V. A., Yaroslavtsev G. I., Kondakov V. D., Dmitriev V. A. , Chizhova E. V., Koval O. N., Narolskaya A. N. made their considerable contribution to the development of the Department.
Currently the Department has 5 candidates of science:
candidate of physical and mathematical Sciences: Kirilenko A. I.
candidates of technical Sciences: Shinkevich A. N., Petrenko S. I., Shmelev Evgeny Stanislavovich, Gurvich Yuri Abramovich
Teachers of the Department lead the research work of cadets, which is carried out in the framework of research of the Department. Cadets who take part in NIRK also assist in improving the material and technical and laboratory facilities of the Department.
From the moment of formation the Department is engaged in search and training of young scientific personnel. This trend is observed at the moment.
The Department continues to be replenished with young personnel. Since 2010 Rubanov Igor Vladimirovich (post-graduate student of the joint Institute of Informatics problems of the NAS of Belarus) has been working. Since 2011, Olga Filippenko has been working (she graduated from BSU in 2015). At the moment, Sergey Dayneko is studying in the master's degree program of the faculty of mechanics and mathematics of BSU.
The scientific potential of the Department allows to maintain relations with scientific and educational institutions in our country. The Department closely cooperates with the departments of physics of BSU, BNTU and BSPU. M. Tank. Cooperation is being established with the departments of physics and mathematics of the military Academy, with the Department of mathematics and Informatics of Mogilev state University named after A. A. Kuleshov, many departments of BSU. Relations with design institutes and special departments of BNTU are established, in particular, in the areas of mechanical cycle.
