The PELTA® testing system is designed to test flight crew members (pilots, flight radio operators, flight navigators), air traffic controllers and cadets of the Aviation Academy to determine the level of English proficiency on the ICAO scale.
The PELTA ® test is developed taking into account the ICAO requirements for language testing and set out in the Guidelines for the Implementation of the ICAO Language Proficiency Requirements (Doc 9835) and ICAO Circular 318 “Language Testing Criteria for Global Harmonization”.
The PELTA ® test focuses on ICAO standards and recommended practices regarding language proficiency used in radiotelephone communications (Appendix 1, “Certification of Aviation Personnel” to the Chicago Convention).
The test allows you to determine the level of English proficiency on the ICAO Scale, regardless of the candidate’s native language, place, time and form of training.
Based on the test results, a certificate of proficiency aviation English on the ICAO scale in English is issued.
Here you can familiarize with the requirements for the format of the candidate and the demo version of the test:
1)SAMPLE FOR ATCs
2)SAMPLE FOR CADETS
3)SAMPLE FOR PILOTS
