On Thursday, March 19, teachers and psychologists organized an interesting lesson for foreign cadets with elements of training “Effective Communication in Conflict Situations”.

The event began with the informative part, where the organizers brushed up on the knowledge about conflict situations and tactics of behavior in them to the audience. Then, teachers and psychologists invited cadets to participate in the experiment - volunteers were given the opportunity to develop effective communication skills and rational behavior in conflict situations. This made it possible to show the difference between non-constructive and effective communication, to analyze the benefits of active listening, as well as to teach how to relieve emotional stress arising in a conflict situation, to allow participants to self-develop.

The participants of the training got acquainted with effective methods of interpersonal communication, techniques of persuading a communication partner, as well as with the features of non-verbal communication.

In the second part of the event cadets had already spoken - they presented a number of presentations about culture of their nations:

• Serdar Baltaev presented the culture of Turkmenistan
• Saidmumin Tabarov and Dildor Safarov presented the culture of Tajikistan
• Andrey Bratusenko presented the culture of Russia
• Berme Munierenkana Mugaruka presented the video about Congo
• Katarina Shamber presented the culture of the Republic of Belarus and spoke about traditions of our country.

Каждое выступление оказалось достаточно познавательным и увлекало в рассказ, вызывало желание приехать к нашим курсантам в гости. Например Сердар рассказал о подземном озере Ков-Ата и горящих «вратах ада», а Андрей удивил тем, что отопление в Сибири включают точно 15 сентября, поэтому в квартирах очень жарко, а зимой в баню ходят 2-3 раза в… неделю.

Участники тренинга отметили высокий уровень организации мероприятия и высказали пожелание встретиться вновь.
