Books were given a second life in the library of BSAA from May 13 to 28, 2021! The campaign to collect children's books for the children of the state educational institution "Social and Pedagogical Center with an orphanage of Zavodskoy District of Minsk" was successfully completed.

During the campaign more than 90 books were collected for children. Coloring books, board games and magazines were also presented for the children. We'd like to thank all the staff and cadets of the Academy who were not indifferent and participated in the campaign, making gifts for children.

We presented books of "My first book" and "School Library" series, encyclopedias, fairy-tale books, bright books for preschoolers, collections of books on extra-curricular reading for different ages, books in Belarusian language. Children will get books such famous authors as K. Chukovsky, S. Mikhalkov, G. Oster, J. Rodari, A. Barto, N. Nosov, A. Aleksin, J. Larry, M. Martsinovich, A. Dzerzhynski, M. Bond, the Grimm brothers and others.

On May 31, a gift-giving ceremony was held. Children prepared a touching holiday concert, and the volunteer group "A Kind Heart" organized games and contests in the open air.

The campaign was over, but the books presented to the children of the center will rejoice the children for a long time: they will help them learn a lot of new and interesting things and spend their time with benefit and pleasure.
