In honour of the International Day of Civil Aviation, a gala event was held at the Belarusian State Academy of Aviation on 7 December. The event was also dedicated to the 88th anniversary of civil aviation of the Republic of Belarus.
Artem Sikorsky, Director of the Aviation Department, heads and employees of aviation organisations and enterprises, as well as cadets of the Aviation Academy took part in the ceremony. In the solemn atmosphere Artem Sikorsky addressed the audience with a congratulatory speech and awarded the best employees of the aviation industry of the country.
Among the awardees of the badge of honor of the Aviation Department of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Belarus was a man who has devoted 50 years to civil aviation, a senior lecturer of the Chair of Technical Operation of Aviation and Radioelectronic Equipment of the Belarusian State Academy of Aviation Juris Tsibulis.
The audience of the ceremony witnessed a touching scene symbolizing the continuity of generations in aviation: the best employees of the aviation industry of the country presented cadets of the aviation academy with a badge of membership in the Department of Aviation of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Belarus.
For people who have devoted their lives to serving the sky, their musical congratulations were given by cadets of the academy and talented employees of the aviation industry.
