New Year's holidays are coming, bright and colorful - the atmosphere of joy and fun often helps to create different pyrotechnic products (fireworks, firecrackers, crackers). But to make the holiday end without negative consequences you need to follow certain rules when using these products.

Minsk Department of Internal Affairs on air transport reminds:

You can't buy pyrotechnic products from random sellers in places not equipped for this purpose (for example, in underpasses, near large shopping malls). Using uncertified products can be harmful (burns, eye or hand injuries).

Be sure to study the instructions before using the products. If any defects are found on the pyrotechnics, they mustn’t be used.

Don’t use fireworks flying upwards in small areas, near residential buildings or in a strong wind.

A safe place should be chosen for those,who watching the spectacle, at a distance specified in the instruction manual.

It’s forbidden to work with pyrotechnics in a state of intoxication and smoking near them. In a case of delay in the work of the product, it's strictly forbidden to use it earlier than 15 minutes.

Using these rules, you will protect not only yourself and your loved ones, but also people who may accidentally suffer from poor-quality products or its improper use.
