Since 2016 Belarusian State Academy of Aviation together with one of the establishments of higher education of the Republic of Tajikistan has been actively implementing an educational program to train specialists in aviation sphere.
In accordance with the agreement on providing educational services between Belarusian State Academy of Aviation and Tajik Technical University named after M.S. Osimi, a joint faculty of civil aviation was created on the basis of the Academy. The essence of the given program is the following: the initial stage of education (1st course) is conducted on the basis of Tajik Technical University named after academician M. S. Osimi, the 2nd stage (2nd-5th courses) is realized directly in Belarusian State Academy of Aviation, with the following final assessment and getting of appropriate qualification after which cadets return to their homeland.
There was a special interest from Tajik cadets in 2019: then the number of applicants was 22 people. The first graduation under this program will take place in 2021.
Undoubtedly, during the implementation of the educational program, a number of issues arise that require joint discussion. In order to solve them, on January 28 a working online-meeting of the two parties was held.
From the Academy of Aviation at the meeting were present: vice-rector for educational work Igor Yatskevich, vice-rector for research work Hanna Zhukova, acting vice-rector for academic work Tatiana Kozhemyakina and acting dean of the Faculty of Civil Aviation Anatoliy Staranovich. Tajik Technical University was represented by vice-rector for science and international relations Mamadamon Abdulloev and Safarali Gadoev, dean of joint faculty of TTU-BSAA as well as first-year cadets who asked their questions (about organization of educational and studying process at the Academy of Aviation, the prospects of the Academy, activities that conducted here, living conditions, etc.). Thus, during the online- meeting the issues of educational, scientific and organizational-educational spheres were discussed as well as the general prospects of development were outlined.
