On June 21, 2021 the Republican seminar on commercialization of the results of scientific and scientific-technical activity was held. It was organized by the State Committee on Science and Technologies of Belarus (SCST) and the State Institution "Belarusian Institute of System Analysis and Information Support of the Scientific and Technical Sphere. (SI "BelISA").

A program of the workshop was aimed at increasing the level of professional training of specialists in the field of commercialization of the results of scientific and scientific-technical activity, efficiency of interaction of state administration bodies, scientific organizations, educational institutions, subjects of innovative infrastructure, enterprises of real sector of economy and business. There were considered legal aspects of commercialization of the results of scientific and scientific-technical activity, created using public funds, as well as accounting of intellectual property objects and other issues.

The opening speech was given to Olga Naumovich, Deputy Director for International Scientific and Innovative Work of the SI "BelISA". Ekaterina Zdankevich, Head of the Department-Engineering Center of the SI "BelISA", was the moderator of the seminar. Alexander Scherbij attended the workshop from the side of educational establishment "Belarusian State Academy of Aviation".

The program included the speeches of:

• Sergey Losev, a leading researcher of the research department in the field of civil, environmental and social law of the National Center of Legislation and Legal Research of the Republic of Belarus, associate professor of the Faculty of Law of the Belarusian State University on "Legal aspects of commercialization of results of scientific and scientific-technical activity, created with the use of public funds".
• Yury Nechepurenko, head of scientific-innovation department of BSU "Research Institute of Physical and Chemical Problems," Candidate of Chemical Sciences, on the theme "Commercialization of the results of scientific and technical activity in Belarus: state, problems, solutions.
• Elena Borovskaya, Associate Professor of International Relations Department of Belarusian State University, Independent Intellectual Property Appraiser, PhD in Economics, on the topic "Valuation and accounting of intellectual property objects".
• Elena Pavlovich, Head of the State Registration of Rights to Results of Scientific and Technological Activities of the Department of Scientific and Methodological Support of Registers of Scientific and Technological Activities of the State Institution "BelISA" on the subject "Algorithm of Rights Registration for the Results of Scientific and Scientific and Technological Activities Subject to Compulsory Commercialization.
