On 23 November cadets of the Belarusian State Academy of Aviation, together with young people from educational institutions of Zavodsky district and employees of departments and divisions of the administration, took part in the planting of the Garden of Hope near the Zhara recreation area.
On the initiative of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union, over 100 apple-tree seedlings were planted along Korzyuki Street in Zavodsky district of Minsk.
During the event, Sergey Masliak, head of the Zavodsky district administration, and Roman Bondaruk, first secretary of the Minsk city committee of the BRSM, inaugurated the memorial stone of the Garden of Hope.
