On 23 November, a meeting of the Academy Cadet Council was held with the participation of BSAA Rector Artem Shegidevich. The topic of discussion was flight safety and aviation security - conditions that play a paramount role in the functioning and development of international air transport.

An aviation specialist plays a major role in safety and must be able to make the right decision in time. Unfortunately, a number of air accidents are due to human mistake.

As BSAA Rector emphasised: "As precious as human life is today, so precious is an aviation specialist". Therefore, when preparing for their future profession, cadets should strive to acquire the maximum amount of knowledge and skills, continuous self-education and self-learning. This can later become decisive and save the lives of others.

The meeting was interactive - everyone in attendance was able to express their opinions and participate in the discussion on the topic. At the end, members of the Academy Cadet Council had the opportunity to ask the BSAA Rector any questions they had about cadet life in general.
