On November 3, 2021, during the meeting of the Public Republican Student Council under the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus, students made proposals for the implementation of some new youth projects.

Thus, one of the diplomas of the winner of the national project of student self-government "Youth shift" was the project of cadet David Pesotsky and teacher Olga Vareiko "Financial literacy in simple words".

The presented development forms the basis for the cadets to make good financial decisions. Through the project cadets will learn how to prepare financial and tax documents, use online banking applications, make online payments, as well as develop skills to manage their money, calculate the budget, understand the issues of credit, insurance, mortgage and other financial matters.

This project has already started within the framework of our educational establishment. The first master class was given by Ekaterina Sharap, a teacher of the National Institute for Higher Education, on "The Financial Market of the Republic of Belarus".

At the end of his speech, David emphasised that if the project is implemented successfully, we will be happy to share it with other technical educational establishment.

Summing up, Minister Igor Karpenko noted that the government would support any socially significant initiatives of students, especially those events that would contribute to strengthening of interaction between students of different universities of the country.
