Every year on 1 December, most countries around the world hold events that serve as reminders to stop the global spread of the HIV/AIDS epidemic. On World HIV/AIDS Day, BSAA cadets also decided to have their say in the fight against these diseases.
In dormitory № 1, the cadet council of the dorm together with the Volunteer Centre of the Academy held an action "Choose Life", during which cadets answered questions on the subject and taped a red ribbon to the "tree of life" as a sign that they know and follow the rules of protection against AIDS. In doing so, they pledged to fight a disease that is very dangerous for everyone.
The children were also given booklets with information on HIV/AIDS. Through all these steps, the plan was to make young people aware of the spread of HIV worldwide.
