"Children learn better and are a thousand times more successful,

if they are given the opportunity

to explore the basics of the material they are learning." Peter Kline

The Department of Specialized Secondary Education is actively preparing the cadets of Study Group 211 for a quiz on the subject of Electrical and Radio Measurement.

The preparation period, in which both teaching and technical staff are involved, takes four weeks and includes theoretical and practical training.

Technical and methodological support is provided by Angelina Shkudun, theoretical training by Svetlana Stankevich, practical training by Igor Shishko, Denis Lipnitsky, Kseniya Belyanko, Vitaliy Stankevich.

On December 2, the preparatory process was organised in such a way that the cadets, according to the theoretical tasks compiled hypotheses, analysed, compared, generalised the factual material and in some cases obtained new information from it themselves. Some tasks were presented by a system of problem tasks of different levels of complexity, in the process of solution of which the cadets mastered new knowledge and ways of solution. The practical tasks are aimed at developing technical thinking, involving analysis of the data received and making correct decisions in an environment with changing conditions, i.e. taking into account random distortions of background information, in the presence of a large audience, with a minimum time interval for reflection.

The purpose of this activity is the participation of cadets in various competitions and activities that will significantly improve the quality of knowledge of theoretical material on the studied discipline and consolidate the practical skills of working with special technical means of measurement, designed to measure basic electrical quantities, which will form creative abilities, technical thinking, imagination, intellectual emotions.
